Music Choice Customer Insights

1. If I haven't clicked a button or closed the app or anything else to actively indicate I'm shutting off the music, it should just keep playing until I "actively" do so.

2. Adding a star for the customer service interactions.It's ridiculous that I have to download an app called Keep Screen On, on top of never minimizing this app in order to work with another app, in order to keep it from going to sleep.

3. If you want people to keep using your app then fix the problems.Please get this APP right! Your music programming is A+++, but this app sucks on the go.

4. Like others, I have to push the play button several times or restart the app.I chose this app because my provider says I could get classic Christmas music.

5. I contacted Music Choice and they referred me to Xfinity, my provider.

6. You need to close the app and reconnect a few times until it connects and if you leave vehicle with app on and playing it will not connect when reentering vehicle on its own.

7. Please make it so it continues to play when in the background and it holds the screen awake while streaming! Also, it appears the fields are wrong when it displays on my car's screen.

8. Worst of all, when my screen times out or I want to look at something else with the app playing in the background, the app quits playing.

9. I also noticed some of these troubles when I'm using it on our television however not as severe.Great when it works, but more often than not the app simply stops whenever relegated to the background after a few minutes.

10. Music Choice takes the trophy! I gave the app 2 stars.

11. This app is great when it plays, but it is beyond annoying that I can't leave it playing without it stopping about every 10 minutes to ask me if I'm still there listening.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Music Choice Issues

1. Fix Music Choice Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Music Choice: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Music Choice App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Music Choice" » Open Music Choice » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Music Choice » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Music Choice app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Music Choice servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Music Choice" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Music Choice app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Music Choice might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Music Choice. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Music Choice then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Music Choice not working


2. Fix Music Choice Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Music Choice be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Music Choice not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Music Choice may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
