AirBrush Customer Insights

1. There are a few features I wish were included (like being able to save and upload to the stamp feature, tweak positioning & angles of filters and decorative elements.Update- reported an issue and still no solution! Get it together! 😡 Why do I have to restore my purchase every time I open the app? It takes way too long and I'm about to unsubscribe - takes up too much battery.

2. This is the first app of this kind I've really been compelled to want to purchase.I've only been using it for about a week so I haven't used all the features yet, but from my experience so far it's a pretty cool app! And useful too! I have to take a lot of modeled product photography for my Etsy shop.

3. The features are great but the bugs are not.Overall fine... iris feature doesn't seem do anything.

4. The acne feature works very well, the auto feature for blur is fantastic, a wonderful variety of subtle filters.

5. I love the filters it has, but it's just too much for my product photos.Half of the options on the app need a subscription to use.

6. It has many preset filters, but I love how you can customize just what you want to and how much: from barely improved to perfection.

7. Perspective is useful but after use, it would be nice to have a minimize? feature to regain original profile size.

8. It has the ability to let you very specifically choose what features you want to adjust and also how you want to adjust them.

9. About a year ago they put the resize features behind a pay wall, which sucks, but hey, that's capitalism.

10. I got it to erase unwanted reflections and background objects (which it does quite seamlessly, if you put in a bit of effort to experiment with it), but you can also do a variety of other retouches and enhancements.

11. Perhaps the resize feature could match the photo framing to compensate.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix AirBrush Issues

1. Fix AirBrush Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

  1. Restart AirBrush: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the AirBrush App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AirBrush" » Open AirBrush - AI Photo Editor » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AirBrush » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear AirBrush - AI Photo Editor app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AirBrush servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AirBrush - AI Photo Editor" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check AirBrush app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AirBrush might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall AirBrush. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AirBrush then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AirBrush not working

2. Fix AirBrush Server issues & Internet Connection

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AirBrush be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AirBrush not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AirBrush may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Hi, I pay for airbrush premium, it was renewed on December 4th 2023 as part of 12 month subscription. It was taken by Apple Pay automatically. Now when I try to edit photos I’m told I cannot save until I upgrade to premium????? I’ve already paid for it…..sort it out please asap!!!

    I accidentally purchased the yearly subscription for £41.99 but I didn’t mean to purchase that one. Please can I cancel and get a refund as I need that money back I did not want to spend that right now on this app, it’s really left me short.

  • I signed up for a free 7 day trial and was immediately charged for the year. When I requested a refund from Apple, it’s states it’s not eligible for a refund. I do not want this service for a year. Please advise.

  • I need a response as to why I cannot restore my subscription!!! I will contact Apple to complain and if I do not get anywhere with that I will contact my attorney general to file a complaint. I do not expect to pay for an app that will not work on my phone. I have tried clearing my history/cache as well as deleting my app and reinstalling. Still NOTHING!!! FURTHERMORE I have two paid accounts! I should only have one.

  • I have not been able to use AirBrush for almost a month or more. I have refreshed the app. I have not deleted it and reloaded it though maybe I should do that. I open it and it says “welcome to AirBrush” fine tune your photo, etc. And it’s pretty much frozen there.

  • Hello it seems that I may have two subscriptions going on, I have one that was taken out of my account for $42 in April and then another $12 today. These both where 1 year subscription according to the receipt sent to my Google account.

  • i have emailed you twice now about a pending subscription that i do not want. i was told it was out of your control but apple said they can’t do anything about it and you can. the subscription was advertised to me as a free trial but it is now trying to charge me $70. i do not want this subscription and i cannot afford it. i subscribed with the email hollychimenti@redacted but now my account has been locked and i cannot mail with that email anymore or make any purchases that i actually need. please fix this as soon as possible as it isn’t my fault

  • I have sent a message already 2 days ago. I signed up for your 7 day free trial and it has straight away taken £30.99 out of my account. I didn’t not agree to this money leaving my account as I clearly signed up to the free trial for 7 days. I am a full time student and that is very valuable money that I desperately need back. I do not even use the app often so this is very frustrating. Please get back to me as soon as possible, thank you.

  • Why did it say that it is 2,8 dollars a month, and I expected that to be taken from my account, but it took for a full year 25 dollars? That is not okay. You can’t advertise 2,8 and charge the whole year

  • Hi, you have took 30.99 off me last month which I didn’t want to pay!! I want my money back. I wanted a free trial. I didn’t want a years worth of airbrush when I don’t even use the app!! It is not worth that money in my opinion and I want w refund, it has only been a month since purchase which I didn’t even sign up for!! When it is supposed to last a year.
