1. the app is intrusive and requires permissions even when not open, and on top of that it doesn't even update when you go into trips and select arrival and departure from whatever locations you've visited en route... instead, there are constant notifications asking you to tap a link to update your location..... WHILE DRIVING... and if you don't, you just get bombarded with texts and eventually calls asking about your location.This app pings your location every 5 to 10 min or so so iy drains phone battery and since your phone is busy send location you get missed calls or text or your phone just doesn't work as fast...plus you do what the app ask and you still get phone calls from brokers pointless app they all are...all the want is access to your phone and all your info so they can sell or use at there leisure...why don't they gives permission to there stuff ..no there's a whole page on tha...

I want to know why I even need to bother clicking "arrive" and "depart" if it wants to know EXACTLY where I'm at ALL the time?it works most of the time its slow as bejesus so you still get phone calls anyway don't really know why I'm giving it three stars I guess because it keeps them from docking me but honestly it's about as worthless as the Brokers themselves,in reply to you saying you can run faster on the metric system...Please explain the time metric system cause last I heard there was only one time standard.

3. Lawsuit city!macro point deleted all my pics and numbers twice.. broker's don't wanna give you a load unless you have it.. I refused to use it for over 6 yrs until recently cause I was stuck in tx and only load I could get had to have macro point.. since I've loaded it again I'm not getting emails or texts until several hrs or even days later.. if you absolutely have to use this delete it asap.. don't keep it on your phone..I put allow all the time in the setting so this application does not have to have a problem.

The brokers continue saying me that they cannot locate me,that I have to accept macropoint, otherwise they will charge me for not accepting macropoint, it is not my fault that this application does not work correctly, I think they will have to invest more time in this applicationExpected to be put on personal phones by most companies.

5. Gives brokers and shippers info on location of their load without having to bother driver.

6. Seems to be a problem for shippers.The forced "precision location" and "allow all the time" for location is a bit over the top.

7. Answer to your question both the app is slow and updates take hours to get to brokersGreat app for trucker tracking, especially to stop all those annoying check calls.

8. I don't think that the tracking gets completely removed from your phone once you delete it.

9. THIS IS MY PERSONAL PHONE! Avoid this app unless your company forces you like the rest of us.

10. This helps as it also tracks shipper receivers so they know the slow ones!This thing is extremely intrusive and will lead to a lawsuit in which I'll be first in line.

1. Fix MacroPoint Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart MacroPoint: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the MacroPoint App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MacroPoint" » Open MacroPoint for Truckers » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MacroPoint » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear MacroPoint for Truckers app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MacroPoint servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MacroPoint for Truckers" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check MacroPoint app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MacroPoint might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall MacroPoint. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MacroPoint then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MacroPoint not working

2. Fix MacroPoint Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MacroPoint be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MacroPoint not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MacroPoint may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
