1. The Motive Driver App makes recording Hours of Service (HOS) on your Android phone or tablet fast and easy.

1. It doesn't change status to driving so when I get to my destination, I find out that it's been on off-duty the entire time even though the screen showed driving.

2. It's also slow, often taking a full second to respond to a basic screen press when every other app on the same device runs right.This eld is horrible.

3. I hate this software but I'm forced to use it.When I go to review my safety issues, it pops up on my screen for 1 second and screen goes blank for a few seconds then popos back up for 1 second.

4. Will update to 5 stars when fixed.Stupid app is always disconnecting from the truck when my screen turns off, even though I have all permissions enabled, and set to never put the app to sleep.

5. Never sign up for Motive.Less than one star! App constantly locks you in drive / in motion mode, and does not allow you to have access to change.

6. Half the time when you try to upload a document, it won't let you select the document type after you take the picture, which of course means you can't upload the document.

7. Great app, but the last update made the timers super small and hard to read at a glance while driving.

8. It also logs me out every time dispatch is changing something and my password gets reset.

9. Press on a key (button) and it acts like it is locked up, but it's just being stupidly slow to respond.

10. It is impossible to figure out how to change trailers mid route, and exemption statuses are even harder to find.

11. We've had multiple issues with it being incredibly slow or just not working at all.

1. Fix Motive Driver Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Motive Driver: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Motive Driver App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Motive Driver" » Open Motive Driver » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Motive Driver » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Motive Driver app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Motive Driver servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Motive Driver" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Motive Driver app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Motive Driver might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Motive Driver. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Motive Driver then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Motive Driver not working

2. Fix Motive Driver Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Motive Driver be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Motive Driver not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Motive Driver may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
