Rocket Music Player Customer Insights

1. It doesn't matter if you grant storage permission to the app in your phone's application settings because it still continues to say "Permission needed." This issue, combined with the ads is infuriating from a user experience perspective.Been using this app for almost 10 years and it was great but in the last year or so the app has been crashing.

2. I have loved this player for years with no issues but a recent update caused music to stop randomly when using the lock screen which makes it nearly unusable.

3. More specifically the "Looking for new songs" notification. This used to be my favorite music app and I have made it a point to install it every time I get a new phone, but since the last update it freezes constantly or doesn't respond.

4. It has worked great for over 2 years UNTIL I left one phone connected to the wifi and it updated to the recent version.

5. I am seeing many similar recent comments re: crash issues and can only hope the developers step up and resolve quickly or risk losing all the loyal customersI paid for this app so I could use it on my older phones as an mp3 player.

6. I thought about buying the ad remover but I don't know if that would help.I've used this app for years and it's been great, but recently a bug has been happening where the app will shut out while I'm still navigating it.

7. This happened after a recent update where the app asked to sync to my email, then the bug started appearing.

8. It sucks when you've created playlists and now have to start from scratch.Well, I reinstalled it and was gonna send a bug report but now it's working fine again! No random freezing/crashing anymore.

9. As far as I could tell, something to do with the most recent update where they changed the notifications was screwing it up.

10. For a free app I can tolerate ads to an extent, but now the player continually says "Permission needed" to show the MP3 collection.

11. In an attempt to just listen to my music the app stopped and froze 15 times today, no exaggeration.
