Iriun 4K Webcam Customer Insights
1. In landscape mode, phone held in portrait, is perfect on the phone, but laptop image is rotated 90 degrees.The app works very well most of the Time, I do notice the issue where the camera wont work on the second round of use in a single day.
2. I'm using Windows 11 with a Galaxy S21, and windows can see the phone, can connect to the storage, and Windows Phone Link works fine, but Iriun Pro does not.Needs user-defined window-sizing & orientation (framing).
3. However windows does not recognize the device as being a camera, so it will not allow usage in Skype or video conferencing.
4. Currently, selecting "portrait" on the app, holding phone in portrait orientation, the image is unusably clipped (top of my head to top lip are visible).
5. Zoom has to be done from the phone but that is fine for me since I prefer to setup and not change anything during the stream or record session.
6. Easy to connect - just install driver on the computer and run the app on the phone and the software takes care of the rest.
7. I also would like the application on the computer to be able to always keep a specific phone as camera 1, 2, or 3.
8. For example, it would be great if I could configure a phone to always be camera 1.
9. I purchased it on a whim in hopes that it might be able to record over Wi-Fi in the background, since extensive Googling returned no information on that, nor did checking the in-app purchase features list.
10. At first the video looked weird - but that was easily fixed by changing the Zoom video setting to "hi res".Great little app.
11. Furthermore, when the thing that is holding you back is the fact you aren't on the latest version, you don't get notified and must manually update your PC client by going to the website and checking your version with the latest version they offer.
Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Iriun 4K Webcam Issues
1. Fix Iriun 4K Webcam Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart Iriun 4K Webcam: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the Iriun 4K Webcam App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Iriun 4K Webcam" » Open Iriun 4K Webcam for PC and Mac » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Iriun 4K Webcam » click "UPDATE".
- Clear Iriun 4K Webcam for PC and Mac app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Iriun 4K Webcam servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Iriun 4K Webcam for PC and Mac" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check Iriun 4K Webcam app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Iriun 4K Webcam might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall Iriun 4K Webcam. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Iriun 4K Webcam then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Iriun 4K Webcam not working
2. Fix Iriun 4K Webcam Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Iriun 4K Webcam be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Iriun 4K Webcam not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Iriun 4K Webcam may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

I have purchased the full version of the app. Iam not able to use the software in other apps.. Like Zoom or Facebook Live.. While using these, either it shows "Unable to find camera" or "Please start iriun webcam" on screen..!

I have a paid version but cannot find the license number to access paid options after uninstall and reinstall.
I uninstalled as having issues with livestreaming from OBS
OBS keeps looking for my phone. It worked well up until a week ago.
I have trouble shooted as follows
Rebooted teléphone and pc
uninstalled OBS et Iriun/rebooted
Re installed OBS and Iriun/rebooted
Removed Picture in picture.
If this issue cannot be resolved, I would like a refund for the Pro Iriun

Hello, Im using my macbook pro and android phone with the iriun app. But it seems that the connection of the server and zoom is lost because when I start Zoom it says that "PLEASE START IRIUN WEBCAM SERVER" and the desktop app is showing me my video but is not translating to OBS or ZOOM.

Hi I have downloaded you app on my Android phone and my Mac running Big Sur. It works fine but I cannot connect it by USB cable, it says enter "developer mode" and I don't understand. Can I add a second phone and use them at the same time? I loaded your app to a second phone and that one connected but not the first phone I connected, what did I do wrong? Your help would be much appreciated .. Many thanks Richard
