1. Having an option to disable them after a few weeks (and alternatively reenable them if needed) would be greatI've been using this app for a year and everything was great until the update...now you have to have the app open the entire time of uploading your scan and uploading takes FOREVER.

2. This makes the app jumps out to the home screen and the scan has to repeat.Great app, my doctor keeps a close eye and let's me know my progress with my aligners, thanks to this app.

3. The only thing I dont like since I've been using it are the additional little steps I have to pass through to do my scan.

4. Easily doubled the time to scan and removes guide lines so you can forget what you are doing by the time it talks for the 3rd time.

5. Not to mention the notifications to scan don't work all the time.

6. It should be with aligners in, and then without.Using this makes proceeding through Invisiline much easier than the first time through Invisiline.

7. My new orthodontist recommended using this app and now they can check alignment progress without the commute and appointments for in-office visits.

8. I turned in a scan three weeks late because I didn't get a reminder to scan until three weeks after I was supposed to.

9. Yes I saw that tip, problem is you can't skip it and have to wait to proceed with the scan.

10. Wish there was a way to disable the scan videos as an option.

11. The only drawback is the bracket that holds my phone for the camera work tends to press the Samsung 22 right on the sound and power button.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix DentalMonitoring Issues

1. Fix DentalMonitoring Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart DentalMonitoring: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the DentalMonitoring App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "DentalMonitoring" » Open DentalMonitoring » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for DentalMonitoring » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear DentalMonitoring app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from DentalMonitoring servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "DentalMonitoring" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check DentalMonitoring app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, DentalMonitoring might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall DentalMonitoring. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall DentalMonitoring then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing DentalMonitoring not working


2. Fix DentalMonitoring Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make DentalMonitoring be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to DentalMonitoring not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, DentalMonitoring may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
