getir Customer Insights

1. The customer service is dreadful though, as they're either lying or have no power to help, so they've lost a customer.App was good, a part once that only one bag was been delivered (but they fixed it), however suddenly the store who was providing delivery in my area stopped working.

2. Then they just ended the chat! so I am also unhappy with the customer service here tooI recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with the Getir app, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts and warn others about the poor service I received.

3. I've contacted the customer service twice to understand what happened and advisors couldn't even understand the questions, their every response was ending with "is there anything else I can help you with" feels like they were sending me off.

4. I won't be using them again.Cant give 0 stars! I am not happy with the app, how on earth are they allowed to take my money for an order but then never proccess my order!? The money for an order that didnt go through was still taken from my account and there is no record of the order on the app at all and it hasn't been delivered.

5. Then to make things worse, customer services told me "it must be a payment issue, try to do the order again".

6. They may think this is good customer service but it is the opposite and puts me off using them again.Was good at first, but then problems.

7. Talked to customer service twice and they said they couldn't give me the offer they promised and I've deleted my account.

8. I sent screenshots etc to customer service to prove this but still the issue didn't get sorted.

9. Customer service via email gave unhelpful/ generic advice.

10. Then when they delivered only half the order, I spent 45 minutes in their maddeningly awful chat system, get cut off twice, and no refund or redelivery.

11. It somehow got even more infuriating!!! Whatever you do, it demands you "lighten the load" and remove things from the basket, without telling you which ones are causing the issueOrdered from Getir since they first launched here during the height of the pandemic, since then they have barely expanded their product selection.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix getir Issues

1. Fix getir Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart getir: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the getir App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "getir" » Open getir: groceries in minutes » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for getir » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear getir: groceries in minutes app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from getir servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "getir: groceries in minutes" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check getir app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, getir might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall getir. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall getir then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing getir not working


2. Fix getir Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make getir be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to getir not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, getir may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Request to delete my account and any data that you have withheld whilst using the app as I no longer use the APP. Under GDPR law it states I don’t need a reason to request this also delete my phone number associated with my account which is 07845533134.
