1. It doesn't offer a whole lot of editing options but you can cut paste split and move parts around and adjust track volume... but what else do you want from a free phone app??? I was definitely able to comp tracks and mix it down to an mp3 for a decent working rough draft to share with other musicians.
2. Really, just stick with the real GarageBand instead of a whackass ripoff.Really handy little multi Tracker app for capturing ideas on the fly with your cell phone! I haven't used the onboard instruments but I've used it to multitrack acoustic guitar and vocal parts.
3. If you have patience and time it might be a very good app for you. This app is a handy to use as a notebook for those spontaneous riff, song, and lecture ideas.
4. Was looking for a good substitute to use instead of GarageBand but in all honesty GarageBand is your best option for making music free.Really friggin' bad.
5. And locked instruments.I really like this app, however I keep having an issue with notes playing that aren't in the score, causing me to have to redo hours of work on a new track to eliminate it.
6. If you made this with an actual interest to help people make music efficiently, you wouldn't need advertisements to keep the app running and you certainly wouldn't have to hide all your features and variety of instruments.
7. It would be cool if I could send a working file to other musicians with the same app for collaboration... haven't tried that yet so don't know if it's even possible.Looks pretty and works as described but not very intuitive for me and trying to figure it out with ads popping up constantly makes it not worth it.
8. I just made a pretty good sounding song on here, saved it, played it back and... it's completely out of tune and time.
9. I have a lot of recordings is their a limit to how much recordings you can have? It also seems that walk band isn't saving my multi tracks anymore and when I go back to old ones there's nothing there. This app is good... except for when it isn't.
10. Every time I make the slightest error in the multi track recording I have to delete the entire instrument track and open it back up again.
11. I've been making music for a while now with bandlab, and GarageBand, and so far, it's kinda good.
I accidentally deleted a song today,, and want to recover it..
