FairPrice Group Customer Insights

1. I don't want to setup payment on it, just use the qr code for points, still the app keeps asking for setting-up payment, I don't want it! Another issue the qr code needs Internet connectivity to show up on screen and some of our fairprices have pathetic connectivity, I just had to say never mind n pay without claiming points.The app takes forever to launch and most of the time it doesn't open at all.

2. Also the auto email payment notification is pure annoying, it only redirects you to the fairprice site and does not provide you with your receipt details.I can't use this app because it MUST "tie up" with credit/debit card even though there is an option [pay with cash/card at payment counter].

3. You mean most things are out of stock forever? I can choose a later delivery date just so I can have the items I want right? It keeps doing this and I have to try to remember what the items I wanted were.

4. I added common items on a different address and changed my address midway and most items became out of stock and removed BEFORE even picking delivery date.

5. Keeps saying it's not linked to any rewards card 🤦 ♂️ Try to enter "residing address" it won't recognise the numbers I entered for unit no.

6. Unfortunately, I have to forego most of the points simple because the app doesn't work!Items within the app gets sold out rather quickly and doesn't get replenish quick enough.

7. Impossible to zoom in on the tiny brochure images and links for more details don't work.The product search function could be better displayed, rather than hidden under a less intuitive button ("Grocery In-store").

8. Please stop sending me emails everytime I pay with the fairprice app! I get that you are trying to promote app usage in kopitiam and the app is suitably convenient, but the email spam everytime I pay with the app is annoying and there is nowhere to turn it off.

9. If you need groceries urgently for particular items, it's still best to get it physically at the supermarket where there is always stock even though it shows as sold out in the app.I accidentally created a 2nd account.

10. Keeps showing "please enter unit number" 🤦 ♂️ The Submit button is submerged.

11. Redmart is much easier to order fromPayment is a breeze on the app but product search doesn't work.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix FairPrice Group Issues

1. Fix FairPrice Group Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart FairPrice Group: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the FairPrice Group App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "FairPrice Group" » Open FairPrice Group » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for FairPrice Group » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear FairPrice Group app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from FairPrice Group servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "FairPrice Group" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check FairPrice Group app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, FairPrice Group might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall FairPrice Group. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall FairPrice Group then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing FairPrice Group not working


2. Fix FairPrice Group Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make FairPrice Group be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to FairPrice Group not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, FairPrice Group may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
