Why should I report an Issue with ESSENCE Magazine?

1. BUT NO MAGAZINE!!! I have yet to receive my first issue! I have written and requested my first issued I have yet to receive a response from Essence.I subscribed to both the digital and paper versions, but I'm only getting the paper copy.

2. I emailed CS about this because the March/April issue will NOT load and it's almost May!Update...after 3 months, current issues don't upload...this 2 yr digital subscription won't do well.I have a one year subscription to essence magazine.

3. The second magazine came to my home and I also got the notification that it was available in the app, but when I click on the magazine, it comes up with options to purchase the magazine, a 6 mos subscription or a 12 mos subscription.

4. I downloaded the app and was able to see the first magazine from my subscription.

5. It only allows me to see the very first magazine in my subscription.

6. FIX IT PLEASE!!My first subscription! I love this magazine.

8. If you already have a paper subscription to Essence this app doesn't provide enhanced content.

9. It's an alternate subscription where electronic issues can be paid for, through the app, on a month-to-month or yearly basis.

10. There's a small discount for subscribing electronically versus receiving paper copies.If I could I would give it less than one star.

11. Unlike other apps of this type that are available through Google Play this one actually works.

1. Fix ESSENCE Magazine Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart ESSENCE Magazine: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the ESSENCE Magazine App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ESSENCE Magazine" » Open ESSENCE Magazine » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ESSENCE Magazine » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear ESSENCE Magazine app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ESSENCE Magazine servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ESSENCE Magazine" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check ESSENCE Magazine app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ESSENCE Magazine might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall ESSENCE Magazine. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ESSENCE Magazine then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ESSENCE Magazine not working

2. Fix ESSENCE Magazine Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ESSENCE Magazine be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ESSENCE Magazine not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ESSENCE Magazine may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
