My Disney Experience Customer Insights

1. Disney needs to take a hint from Universal's app, which is so much easier to navigate and less hassle-free.Hard to find what you need not user friendly for first time users.

2. Also difficult to navigate if you have more than one hotel room under the same family as they each get their own reservation number making it more cumbersome to navigate the entire trip as a whole entity. The hallmark of how bad the app is shows when the majority of the app is directions and videos on how to use the app.

3. The theme parks are leaning heavily in its guests using this app to plan their trip, get in virtual lines for the most popular and newest rides, and order food/make reservations.

4. I'm a very technical person, not my mom and I am always racking my brain, 'where was that?' The app adds a lot of pain to the trip.I enjoy using this app to keep me informed of all my Disneyworld experience.

5. This app can do none of that reliably with a simple-to-use interface that's intuitive for users, ESPECIALLY for older users.Good ideas in this app but the payment processing is a major problem if you don't have a card set up ahead of time.

6. Also I wish I could request, confirm, and modify theme park reservations in the app rather than being sent to a web browser to complete those tasks.

7. I'm pretty tech savvy and if I was frustrated most of the day with its shortcomings (app features not functioning, canceling rides despite working within its parameters, clunky map, etc...) I can't imagine how someone who isn't very tech savvy would feel.

8. Tried uninstalling & reinstalling but I get the "Disney World isn't responding" message immediately.

9. Nice attempt but I would consider this app to be beta level.App will not open (it just freezes) unless I turn on location services in my phone before opening the app.

10. Even if it's not a "reservation" just let me put it on thereThis app is robust and I'm sure a lot of money was spent to try and improve the customer experience, but honestly it comes up short.

11. The fact that the app is almost completely necessary while visiting Disney World makes this an unacceptable situation.
