YouCam Makeup Customer Insights

1. The app kept telling me to look straight to take my picture but I'm blind in one eye so it crosses and I can't help that but this app doesn't have any feature I found to look past my disability.Finally! More options for colored contacts! I love the more natural looking eye colors/patterns, so hurray for that! I mostly use this to give my OCs makeovers and there are probably hundreds of different looks/styles to create, so it's perfect.

2. Ive tried literally every app on the market regarded by critics to be the ultimate makeup photo editor on the scene, and honesty, none measures anywhere close in terms of quality, consistency, reliability, and diverse range of options and features.

3. I want options to change the color & improve the look without appearing like my eyebrows have been painted on.

4. Additionally, YouCam stays current and is always updating its features and expanding its color options and cosmetic lines.

5. Other apps have similar features, but they can't keep up with this one! It could take up a lot of memory if u don't cloud ur pics.This app is fun to use.

6. Being able to fix the placement of makeup on ur face so it matches up exactly on point is the reason I love this app.

7. Other than that, I love playing around with all the settings, very cool app!Beyond any doubt, this app is truly the most dynamic and prestigious of any of its kind.

8. I've tried many other makeup, hair, selfie apps & none come close to this one.

9. Totally worth the 30$ if you keep at it and truly take your time learning how to place the dots at the exact placements I can hardly tell which of my pics are edited with this app and which are not.

10. Many of the makeup looks totally change my eyebrows into something else and that's not what I'm looking for.

11. You can do look where you don't get to create your own, and you can create your own, though, if you want to, it's really just a place where you can do your makeup, try a new look.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix YouCam Makeup Issues

1. Fix YouCam Makeup Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart YouCam Makeup: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the YouCam Makeup App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "YouCam Makeup" » Open YouCam Makeup - Selfie Editor » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for YouCam Makeup » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear YouCam Makeup - Selfie Editor app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from YouCam Makeup servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "YouCam Makeup - Selfie Editor" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check YouCam Makeup app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, YouCam Makeup might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall YouCam Makeup. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall YouCam Makeup then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing YouCam Makeup not working


2. Fix YouCam Makeup Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make YouCam Makeup be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to YouCam Makeup not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, YouCam Makeup may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Hi,
    I have been trying to access youcam makeup features since long time as I had used it before and loved it's features.

    But, since months the app is full of glitches and fault, unable to connect to Facebook, showing poor connection despite of good network. I even tried to uninstall and reinstall, but the app is not available on Play Store now, so i installed through a apk.

    Despite of that, I am unable to access it. After trying hard, I used some features without logging as it wasn't possible showing poor connection, the photos were losing clarity and becoming blurred when accessed.

    I even subscribed it monthly and failed to access it's features due to the same faulty reasons.

    Can you please rectify the app, bringing back it on app store or help a way to access it without connectivity and subscription failure issue. It was really a good app before, now it has become full of faults.

  • Hello. A while ago there was a 7 days free trial and then 1 year of subscription for 500 something TL. I did it and i cancelled before the 7 days end. Then i even deleted the app because i no longer use it. But they still want to charge me and my app store is stuck because of your application. And i cant even download it because app store wont let me due to the paymernt. Even though I unsubscribed very long time ago. Please help me with the payment issue. I now longer can use my phone normally i cant access or download anything or any app!! I am a student and i cant afford that amount and i also cancelled before the trial ends. Please help.

  • Hi! My child purchased an annual subscription with you guys and I didn’t notice in time to cancel the subscription. I am really not in a place to be able to afford this. Would it be possibly for you to remove the charges. I cannot afford a credit card. I have a back injury & because of this I’am unable to work.
