SeriesGuide Customer Insights

1. This not going to lower my rating and I am not going to stop using the program, I would just would love to have that feature.App works great for managing a lists of movies and shows, as well as movies and shows that have been previously watched.

2. Being able to search within the series makes it easy to find and mark these shows you have watched.is using this app for at least five years away longer, so I definitely think it's a very useful app.

3. It's not letting me add certain new shows, it's not updating episode lists, and it's showing one show as canceled that has been renewed.

4. I'm seeing episodes of shows that don't actually exist, incorrect network info for shows, and several times I was showing multiple copies of one single episode showing on different days.

5. I've had it for years.I have been using this App for a long time, but lately it doesn't update all the shows.

7. This is a great app for tracking many different shows you're watching at once, and always knowing whats currently airing and when shows are coming back for new episodes.

8. It's just after all these years, we are still waiting on filters on the popular add show section to filter out shows you've already checked off.

9. Since I see I am now able to have a separate list I've edited my rating.This was a great app when I first started using it, but all of a sudden there are several things that seem to be wrong with the app.

11. If there was a direct way for registered users to contribute information, the app might have better accuracy on a lot of these shows.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix SeriesGuide Issues

1. Fix SeriesGuide Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart SeriesGuide: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the SeriesGuide App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SeriesGuide" » Open SeriesGuide: show manager » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SeriesGuide » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear SeriesGuide: show manager app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SeriesGuide servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SeriesGuide: show manager" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check SeriesGuide app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SeriesGuide might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall SeriesGuide. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SeriesGuide then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SeriesGuide not working


2. Fix SeriesGuide Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SeriesGuide be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SeriesGuide not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SeriesGuide may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
