1. After four months of using it, I realized I couldn't remember the last time I tossed and turned! Updated Review: After a significant redesign, I am more in love than ever! They added playlists, helping me organize my favorites! Originally I had four stars because having only a favorites list and a "listen later" list.

2. All you can do is swipe left to move onto a new suggestion or view their daily recommendations per category on the homepage, and the options available to you depend on what level you've reached based on the number of day/meditations you've completed.I got offered a free subscription for a time but I am going to be honest and so far I am enjoying the app.

3. Why would you have a story for falling asleep that's under 10 minutes??? If you can fall asleep that fast you don't need a story for falling asleep 🙄 Filter doesn't filter-if you select don't like the teacher's voice or content not helpful it's still suggests those teachers and the same content.

4. Great job Aura!!!This app WAS amazing! For like the 3 years I've had it, It offered limited free meditations and sound scapes with the option to unlock more features if you pay.

5. Definitely shouldn't waste your time downloading it!Love the content in this app but there are some glitches that drive me mad.

6. However, I dislike that you can't search for meditations in the app like you can with other apps like Simple Habit--which is a bummer because I bought the annual subscription.

7. It creates as much frustration navigating add it relieves.I have tried to install this app several times and all I get when I open it is a beautiful picture with a frozen rainbow ring.

8. But don't you need to listen at least once to know? It desperately needs a search function and the recent sessions hasn't saved any for a month.

9. 🙄I love this app! I've noticed a huge improvement in my mental health since I started using it.

10. I open it today and no more limited free options.

11. I still believe there also still quite a bit of room for improvement, like more sound options and some more variety of instrumental music.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Aura Issues

1. Fix Aura Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Aura: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Aura App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Aura" » Open Aura: Meditation & Sleep, CBT » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Aura » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Aura: Meditation & Sleep, CBT app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Aura servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Aura: Meditation & Sleep, CBT" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Aura app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Aura might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Aura. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Aura then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Aura not working


2. Fix Aura Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Aura be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Aura not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Aura may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I downloaded this app one day because I currently take care of a client who was in a car accident and has brain damage from it so she and is in a lot of pain so I was just exploring different things to see what might help her so I downloaded that app and that same day not even 30 minutes later they've got a hold on my card for $60 so I messaged them right away and I tell them I'm not going to subscribe to this I don't want it and they email me back saying there's no record of an account then I'm charged yes day before yesterday for $59.99 which I find odd since there's no record of my account how did they charge me? Doesn't make any sense to me no here's the kicker when I email him this time I get an email error message it's not a valid email address and you can't get a hold of these people I want my money back I have nothing to last me and my family for the next week until I get paid again

  • This app took $62 off my card for a subscription to a free trial that not suppose to b a subscriptiin at all. I contacted google they couldnt refund the money bcuz they said the developers had already recieved the money.
