When you submit the payment, you should be presented with a confirmation screen that shows your payment parameters before proceeding to to actually submit the payment.It keeps saying my address information doesn't match their records after I tried to make my first rent payment, when I tried to send it it ends up kicking my money back into my bank account!!!!! I rather have an option to pay over phone because this is ridiculous and it happened 3 times even after they deactivated my account and reactivated it the same thing happens!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!After 4 months of usage, the account stopped recognizing the 2 factor authentication codes, I was hoping there was another account recovery method like text or email.
2. Then there was an issue between my bank and property management company, I was reimbursed the rent payment the app withdrew by error, but now I have to pay for a NSF charge.
3. Still can't login or recover and no customer support.Lousy app that or you have lousy people using it because I have people telling me that the reason I can't make online payment is due to a technical issue that apparently you can't fix within two months.
4. Being, a week later the app withdrew another rent payment for that month when it already confirmed the bill was paid.
5. I decided to try auto payment with my checking instead, and it charged my account TWICE! And guess what? Neither was reflected in my bank account.
6. Don't give me the info email, callThis app is frustrating! I paid my rent a week early this month, but apparently that wasn't a good thing.
7. I basically can't pay my rent because I got locked out of my account.They not only forse you to buy, by changing astronomical amount of rent, but now they charge you to pay if you use e-checks.
8. I just want to pay rent, but that's apparently too hard to manage for a payment app.
9. My landlord can't disable the 2 factor authentication in my profile, so I'm back to paying rent with paper checks.
10. So I have to go out of my way spend extra money to make payments for something that was supposed to all be online... this ends up costing extra money this app is trash... Aculease in Kansas get it togetherI didn't think I would use it this much but it's helpful.

There are 2 methods to get your data (and account) deleted by Online Portal by AppFolio. They are:
Under GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation (for EU Residents): This gives you the right to ask an organization that holds data about you, to delete that data. This is known as the ‘right to erasure’. You can make your request verbally or in writing. We recommend writing via email, to serve as evidence. An organization has one calendar month to respond to your request.
Under CCPA - California Consumer Privacy Act: This empowers California residents to request that a business delete the data/personal information it has on you. The business is legally required to delete the consumer's personal information from its records and direct any service providers to delete the data too. Failure of a business to comply with the CCPA can result in fines of up to $7,500 per violation.
Now we understand what the laws entail, You can delete your account by contacting Online Portal by AppFolio via email. Here is how to handle the account data deletion request:
In your email, state the reasons why you want your data/account deleted - Note that under GDPR or CCPA you don't need to provide a reason for your request
Provide all the relevant information regarding your account with Online Portal.
Mention the Law under which you make your request - GDPR or CCPA
Notify Online Portal of the penalty for non-compliance - A $7,500 fine under CCPA and 4% of annual turnover under GDPR.
I’m having trouble accessing my account. It’s asking for a multi factor authentication code which my iPhone isn’t letting me use. Nor is it generating a code for me to access my account so I can make my rent payment.
