AppClose Customer Insights

1. It is full of calendar glitches, for example: every other weekend showed up as Sunday through Thursday for odd dates that did not correspond to the schedule that I input.

2. I didn't even get to the other options, though I had really hoped that the visitation swap option would work for us.Truley too early to write meaningful review.

3. This is a no go for many that want to keep everything in one app so crosscheck is easy.Been using it for months and all of the sudden it started saying "no internet connection" which I knew was not correct.

4. In app notifications are also stuck at 2 for my messages even when there are no new ones.Once System Calendars have been synced there is not an option to share or merge.

5. The video chat option is pointless because you can't use speaker phone volume so you would have to have the phone to your ear to hear them talk.

6. There is motion for expenses and other item all listed on the same level as the notes but you cant download notes.

7. Using it for communication but it won't send /receive messages reliably.

8. There is a delay in messages at times and not all my messages send which has caused big communication issues in an ready temperamental situation.

9. Not writing into Google calendar is my greatest frustration considering I live off my calendar for businessFor a free app I guess it is hard to complain.

10. We only used it a few weeks, didn't get to calendar, etc Specifics: I get a notification that I have a new message but when I click on the notification nothing happens.

11. First off I keep running into these like breaks in service where nothing gets sent to the other party.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix AppClose Issues

1. Fix AppClose Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart AppClose: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the AppClose App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AppClose" » Open AppClose: Co-Parent Essentials » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AppClose » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear AppClose: Co-Parent Essentials app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AppClose servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AppClose: Co-Parent Essentials" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check AppClose app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AppClose might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall AppClose. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AppClose then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AppClose not working


2. Fix AppClose Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AppClose be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AppClose not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AppClose may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

    My client's parent has deleted the app and is requesting a link connect to her new download app. The link request is 3rd party link. How can we link back up without losing any information on the prior app? Parent to parent.

  • Good morning, my daughter's father and I use Appclose. He is always making comments and accusations towards me on the app. Is there a way for you to connect with him via the app to ask him to stop these comments and verbal abuse? Please let me know. Thank you.
