Will have to delete all of my conversations and find another app to do this with.This app seems legit, but Google Messages on my receiving phone (Nexus 5X) interrupts the MMS transfer midway with a message asking "Do you want to make Google Messages your default messaging app?" This disconnects the transfer session, after which I must restart the entire connection/transfer process.

This is an unbiased review post useSamsung Smart Switch would not transfer all 23k SMS/MMS messages from one Galaxy Note 9 to another.. just locked up in the middle... so tried this app and it worked perfectly (was holding my breath in spots)... a few ads jumped out during the process but a small price to pay for an excellent app.
3. I just switched from a Samsung to a Pixel and for some reason text messages failed to transfer over.
4. It worked great! Took less than 5 minutes to transfer all MMS and SMS messages.
5. Some tips for a successful sms/mms transfer.. After downloading app on both phones, go to your settings and under app permissions, grant this program access.
6. After being unable to find a simple transfer method to transfer the files by plugging in the phones via USB I found this app.
7. For some reason the automatic data transfer didn't work when I initially got the new phone and did the initial set up.
8. Rather than go through literally thousands of messages and delete duplicates, I simply deleted all messages on the receiving phone, ran the app again and solved that issue.Works wonderfully.
9. Thanks developers!!For several days I have tried many apps to move my messages from my old phone to the new one to no avail.
10. Even though some conversations turned out okay, others ended up seeing double the messages and none of my responses so it's absolutely impossible to read the conversation.
11. It is an excellent application for SMS transfer but have no clue on security aspect unlike all other applications.
