Why should I report an Issue with Daily Prayer: from the CofE?

1. Only one complaint: 'contemporary' is misspelled in the menu as 'comtemporary'! Would it be possible also to include an option in a future release to be able to 'turn pages' of the prayer services rather than scroll, e.g. tap the right side of the screen to 'turn a page' to advance through the service, as one can do on a Kindle or other e-reader? Scrolling is a little bit distracting sometimes.This is so great for resting in the Daily Office! I love that it gives me everything without having to mark and flip pages (which is distracting) and it also gives me the option of more traditional or contemporary.

2. I like to walk and pray, but an interruption in phone signal seems to stop the audio, and media bar disappears, meaning you have to close, reopen the app then try and guess how long it has been running, would be great if this could be fixedVery good, so 5 stars.

3. Faith and Practice in one hand, easily lifted and held! When alone and if tired, it can help to click for the Audio at the beginning of each service: all done with compassionate dignity and some glorious and apposite music settings.

4. I also appreciate that it covers the whole screen so you don't see the time and notifications.A nice little app, and really like the audio option, except it's quite unreliable.

However, I'm disappointed with the facility, I am partially sighted and find that if there is the slightest issue, having to pause or a break in the playback (today partly through first reading) I have to start again from the start! This is really frustrating.Whether at home, out in the community or travelling, this is my priority app.

6. Make the audio player a header that remains in place as the user scrolls down the page while reading.

7. Something I dislike however (and maybe I'm missing a button here) is that a few times the audio has just stopped and I can't get back to where I was and when you're 15 minutes in thats not exactly ideal.

8. I got around this by using the Web version which has fast-forward and rewind buttons.I only recently discovered the playback option in the app.

9. I play the audio and one niggle is that it sometimes stops, not sure why.

1. Fix Daily Prayer Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Daily Prayer: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Daily Prayer App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Daily Prayer" » Open Daily Prayer: from the CofE » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Daily Prayer » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Daily Prayer: from the CofE app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Daily Prayer servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Daily Prayer: from the CofE" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Daily Prayer app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Daily Prayer might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Daily Prayer. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Daily Prayer then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Daily Prayer not working

2. Fix Daily Prayer Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Daily Prayer be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Daily Prayer not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Daily Prayer may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
