FacePlay Customer Insights

1. I know that this is an Asian app and their facial features are the most adaptable for this sort of app, the only thing I would say is not good about this app is the lack of representation of body sizes and if somehow the generator could pick up of skin tone to be sure that the exposed skin on the rest of the body matches the face.Do yourself a favor and use actual ai, this is just a cheap gimmick and for fun so don't take the results as what ai can actually do.

2. There should at least be a 3 day free premium to let people test out the different kind of features before deciding to subscribe or not.

3. Saw those videos on Insta as good enough for me to be willing to download the app and pay for a weeks subscription just to TRY it.

4. On that subscription screen, it does the same thing (took one too many clicks) before the payment info for Google came up.

5. There's also the problem of the free features, when I input a pictures it created something way too different, like for example if I put a cat picture it would make a car.

6. I tried to search different ways as to find a way to change my subscription and nothing turned up.

7. Half the videos didn't even load and had error msgs!! I have cancelled my subscription.

8. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.Honestly, everything seems like it takes money to get- there are times where I don't wanna subscribe or can't afford it.

9. I remember when I first got the app, it felt pretty fun the things I could get and do, but now, I can't do much without having to buy subscription.

10. But it makes me pay for every feature/filter, even if I subscribe it makes me pay again to be able to use that features.

11. But I could only subscribe weekly when I wanted to subscribe for the whole year.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix FacePlay Issues

1. Fix FacePlay Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

  1. Restart FacePlay: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the FacePlay App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "FacePlay" » Open FacePlay - AI Photo&Face Swap » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for FacePlay » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear FacePlay - AI Photo&Face Swap app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from FacePlay servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "FacePlay - AI Photo&Face Swap" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check FacePlay app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, FacePlay might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall FacePlay. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall FacePlay then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing FacePlay not working

2. Fix FacePlay Server issues & Internet Connection

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make FacePlay be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to FacePlay not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, FacePlay may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I noticed I’ve been getting charged for a subscription I never did. What is going on?? I need my money back, never have I purchased nor subscribed. I have not used the app.
