1. Actually same issue was reported by other users here too.Very very bad application and service - i try to make online transfer and enter all detials then when i enter OTP number always mentioned it is not correct although i'm very sure i enter 6 digit correct and i try to contact customer servicers and talk to them 6 times with the same answer of uninstall software then reactivate and that always not work - this was very hard and delay imoprtant transfers and cause damages to me - at the end may i will be forced to close my account in CIB soon.a disappointing application, u can imagine every time I need to make a money transfer transaction, I have to call cib customer service and ask for RESETTING application for installing again!! it is very annoying.

2. Reinstalled the app and called the customer service many times for activation, they unlock the app, change the application counter and ask me to set the time zone to Automatice which is already done, but still locks again! Update October 2019, still not working after contactingthe customerservice and resettingthe app many times.

3. solutions should be based on root cause analysis, Not trial and error methods.Amateur application with endless issues and flaws, the nice thing that you will see is related to the 5 stars ratings, most of it is coming from the bank application development team.

4. The solution in all cases is to uninstall and reinstall the application! I think something fundamental is missing here, unfortunately the support team is disconnected and not listening to the issues.

5. I have been trying to transfer money and enter the OTP but each time the message incorrect OTP appears.

7. My feedback on the experience is good.OTP number has many issues such as giving error messages of incorrect number while the number is correct, plus the expiry is very fast in 1 minute.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix CIB OTP Token Issues

1. Fix CIB OTP Token Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart CIB OTP Token: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the CIB OTP Token App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "CIB OTP Token" » Open CIB OTP Token » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for CIB OTP Token » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear CIB OTP Token app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from CIB OTP Token servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "CIB OTP Token" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check CIB OTP Token app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, CIB OTP Token might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall CIB OTP Token. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall CIB OTP Token then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing CIB OTP Token not working


2. Fix CIB OTP Token Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make CIB OTP Token be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to CIB OTP Token not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
