1. I wanted a remote to operate TV and Roku device.The remote app in general works amazing! However, the volume control DOES NOT WORK; I have borrowed my roommates remote and the volume control works when I use her physical remote.

2. This one works!! Every time! As long as both the TV and your device are both connected to Wi-Fi, this app has never let me down! You have to take the 5 seconds to find and select your TV every time you reload the app to be able to use the remote, if the remote automatically loads, it won't work, go back to the scan screen and select your TV again.. Each time.

Didnt say which one.Amazing so far, an ad before getting in which is reasonable compared to other apps, and there's HDMI buttons which, if you're lazy like me, is very useful, however, sometimes it doesn't find your TV, but you can relaunch the app and it MIGHT find it, it's great but there's obviously downsides, as all good things haveWorks for TCL Roku TV.

4. Go anywhere else!Use all the time when I can't locate my remote cause I have two little ones that walk off with it! LoL ..... Great app, does what I need, does have pop up ads but easy to X out of so not a huge deal.

5. Definitely worth a try if you are in a similar position.This is the first roku remote I've downloaded that plays non stop ads which is annoying considering there's dozens of others that DON'T do that.

6. Which roku remote app has that on it? The instrctions on the tricks of roku i watched just said download the app if your remote doesnt have the microphone button.

7. Then app would not turn on the TV connected to my Roku device, so it is not a universal remote as advertized.

1. Fix Remote Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

3. Clear Remote for Roku : Codematics app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Remote servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Remote for Roku : Codematics" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Remote app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Remote might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Remote. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Remote then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Remote not working

2. Fix Remote Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Remote be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Remote not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Remote may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
