Weverse Customer Insights

1. Other notable problems include a lack of subtitles on content, an interface that is not user-friendly, and a lack of decent customer service.Only negative comment on the recent updated version of Weverse is when viewing a Live on my phone in full screen, and multi tapping the '❤️💙💚's' it will bring up the 'minimize' screen button and lower the video.

2. There's always an error message saying "Translation delayed due to a high number of requests." Its really annoying because althiugh I enjoy the content, I never know what the weverse community is saying, if it's it's no in English.

3. I was able to use it without any issues at all but for the last couple of days, the app won't let me log in and keeps saying to check network connect-- even though my network connect is perfectly fine, since other apps that also run off of network connect are running perfectly fine.

4. As of now I can't even open the app most the time and when I do, I still can't access anything like the groups or my profile outside of the groups.The connections are really bad on this app because everytime you enter this app, sometimes it will say 'network error' and it's annoying.

5. There should be English subtitles for the livestreams.I'm disappointed in the direction Weverse has gone, as it used to be a great platform.

6. I cannot download videos, gifs, or moments without a "download unsuccessful" error, even after reinstalling the app and having tons of space available.

7. It keeps saying network error or something while loading, when it definitely isn't.

8. It would be great if this could be fixed ☺️ Otherwise, I love the new layout, graphics and features.I personally find this app fun and useful, but I have some minor issues with this app.

9. There are a few issues though: 1) Lack of easy communication b/w users.

10. Overall, the app is okay, but not in its best condition.I love Weverse for being able to interact with BTS but it definitely has some flaws.

11. First, I think that getting into a different artist's Weverse is too easy.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Weverse Issues

1. Fix Weverse Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Weverse: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Weverse App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Weverse" » Open Weverse » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Weverse » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Weverse app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Weverse servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Weverse" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Weverse app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Weverse might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Weverse. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Weverse then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Weverse not working


2. Fix Weverse Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Weverse be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Weverse not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Weverse may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Hello!! My profile on the Dream Academy has been hidden for no reason?…
    I went on weverse and it was hidden even though I did nothing but be nice to everyone (for example post photos of my picks, support them and post good morning posts) and now I’m not sure how to fix that!   • I bought a presale for the blackpink London concert and my membership number is BB575090434. The email said the code would be sent at 4pm UK time, but I still haven't received it and everyone around me has. Why is this?   • I would like to speak with someone regarding purchasing. My complaint is the following:

    When I have put items in my cart and are on the page to purchase, why/how is it the item that is in my cart and being purchased can suddenly be sold out? I equate that with being in line a the store and because the person behind me likes what I have they just reach in and take it for themselves. I feel if it’s in my cart and I’m in the process of purchasing it it should no longer be available for purchase by someone else. This happened not once but twice as I was attempting to purchase JUNGKOOK’S mood lamp. I have since sent an email inquiring when and if this item, as well as the other Artist-Made items, will be restocked. It seems to me that Weverse/HYBE should have know the amount of people that would be attempting to purchase these items.

    With all of my previous concerned I would like to know if Weverse/HYBE will be restocking the items? Also, I would like to state that this is my second email I have sent to the company and I would reall appreciate an answer to my inquiry.

  • It would be better if the Weverse app have emoji like facebook while posting so that it can be easier for all the people who wants to post with their expression and emotion at any time with any devices they have rather than only had an option to wait when they got a cell phone.

    Another one is i want you to make weverse shop available for PC,laptop rather than only being able to use in your mobilephone.That would be the convenient way to get notified about the new merches that come even when your cellphone is not working.

  • hi this is less of a technical issue or direct complaint, I’m honestly just concerned and a bit confused. from my short time using the app I’ve seen a lot of suicidal posts on there, people saying they are tired, wanting to give up, a lot of rants about personal issues and struggles with mental health, and it’s just something I found concerning, usually the posts gets deleted in a few minutes, but I was wondering if there was a different way to report these kind of issues to get people proper help. I have no clue what or how, and I do understand there’s only so much you can do, but it’s difficult to see these issues swiped under the carpet like it’s just anything else.
    I’m sorry if this is a complete mess and I look like an idiot, but I hope that you can look past my idiocy and see the real issue in a serious light. These people deserve help, I wish I had better words to do that justice.

  • Weverse locked my both of the profiles which were for (bts).
    My posts were trending on of the accounts and some of the Army's due to jealousy reported my account.
    I want weverse to go through the issues thoroughly and then only take actions.
