Cast to TV, Chromcast & Roku Customer Insights

1. So I'm left to guessing and tapping.... It would be so much easier to have some easy to view the entire name if the file BEFORE it begins to launch.Unlike some of the other crappy casting apps, this one actually works for all the sites that I regularly visit and for all devices to which I cast video.

2. Maybe, I'll be able to eventually find the settings to correct it, but it's annoying.Works very well! Downloaded this on one phone and it started to work, but wouldn't actually show the video.

3. Also, it doesn't work properly on older versions of Android.⊙⊙UPDATE⊙⊙: For example, when I press screen mirroring, it should show my 2 TVs that have Chromecast, but on the older versions of Android it just shows my bluetooth speakerWorks better than expected 👌.

4. I don't understand how it can connect so quickly by choosing Video yet it cannot cast, because that's what it's doing when it plays a video directlyIt's a great app for Chrome casting things to your TV.

5. I deleted both apps, downloaded this one on that phone, and boom, it works!I would give it 5 stars...but simple "quality of life" adjustments are missing.

7. I already have my videos organized so I don't want to have to scroll down to the bottom...why not have that on the main menu or at least at the top!? Secondly, you can't view in landscape... It might not seem like a big deal, but I have seasons of TV shows and I can't see the episode number when I'm viewing in landscape.

9. THE option to cast your screen only works if your tv has something called Miracast, which I have never heard of.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Cast to TV, Chromcast & Roku Issues

1. Fix Cast to TV, Chromcast & Roku Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

  1. Restart Cast to TV, Chromcast & Roku: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Cast to TV, Chromcast & Roku App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Cast to TV, Chromcast & Roku" » Open Cast to TV, Chromcast & Roku » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Cast to TV, Chromcast & Roku » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Cast to TV, Chromcast & Roku app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Cast to TV, Chromcast & Roku servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Cast to TV, Chromcast & Roku" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Cast to TV, Chromcast & Roku app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Cast to TV, Chromcast & Roku might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Cast to TV, Chromcast & Roku. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Cast to TV, Chromcast & Roku then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Cast to TV, Chromcast & Roku not working

2. Fix Cast to TV, Chromcast & Roku Server issues & Internet Connection

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Cast to TV, Chromcast & Roku be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
