2. HCF’s My Membership app is your trusted health partner in your pocket.
3. The app is for Australian HCF private health insurance policies only.
4. The app will work best if you download an up-to-date version of software on your phone.
5. Download it now and enjoy an app that’s genuinely made for members.
1. Honestly not a great look for such a large company....and this has happened three days in a row.Hopeless. Cannot use the app as the 2-factor authentication requirement sends a code to my WIFEs phone - as she is the primary account holder.
2. I am overseas and Australian mobile number is not on international roaming so I am unable to login as I cannot receive OTP via SMS.Logged in successfully the first time.
3. Bring back pin codes, or a "remember me on this device" feature. It used to be that any member on the policy could log in, but now every login requires 2FA through the primary policy holder's phone.
4. So backwardAs per the new security feature of Two Factor Authentication to login, there should be an option to receive the OTP/PIN via EMAIL too and not just SMS.
5. My partner can't use it on her phone as it sends an SMS to log in and hcf don't allow more than one person to have a login in a family.
6. How can I use the app if she is not around ?? If you allow the app to be installed across multiple devices for multiple users, then surely the app / backend-system would allow for this (unique login/code per app user).
7. This, in practice, means nobody but the primary policy holder can effectively use the app.
8. They say they're "working on it" but it's been months now.Fantastic app - user friendly UI, lots of self-service options and easy to navigate.
9. Have to login with a pin every time despite using biometrics.
10. Have quit the app and opened it up again, and it just keeps coming up with an error message "access denied".
11. A move like this, and so soon after HCF raised the dependent age cap, just means the app is unusable for significant percentage of members.
