1. You only have to set it up once (unless you're adding or removing new lists/calendars), and then it seamlessly syncs your contacts, calendars and tasks between your server (I use it with Nextcloud) and your Android device, and you can use them with any app on your phone that uses the system calendars and contacts. If you read through the FAQs in advance and follow all applicable recommendations, as well as diligently follow the installation instructions, you'll be extremely happy with the ease of installation and efficient functioning of this app.
2. This means that my phone/tablet works perfectly with Nextcloud.DAVx5 is great for being able to access Apple calendars on Android phones/tablets.
3. It also lets you create calendars in your iCloud account (like the "new calendar" option an iPad/iPhone/Mac) and that works flawlessly too.
4. So if you have issues, don't be quick to judge the app without first seeking support to resolve.Fantastic App! If the contact accounts could be selected when one tries to move a contact to a different account, I would give it 5 stars.
5. Sadly only local device and the Google accounts appear there.App support self created certificate authority that is installed in phone.
6. Once, they fixed a bug within a few hours of my report – at a weekend! With reference to the help documentation all works fine! Good app, worth purchasing.Easy to set up.
7. I recently had an issue (it was Google calendar limitations in the end, not DAVx5) and the people from support was incredibly helpful and clear.
8. I had a family iCloud calendar and this app helped me use it with read and write support in the Google Calendar app.
9. It just keeps humming along, syncing my contacts and calendars between Fastmail and my phone.
10. Overall 10/10 experience in terms of Apple calendars. My favourite kind of tool: I set it up once, then by and large I never think about it again.
11. Works great with nextcloud.
